Can I send a viigii without buying a physical gift?

The viigii experience is designed to accompany the purchase of a physical gift through an online retailer. With viigii, you can offer an easy and memorable gift-giving experience to your customers, eliminating any worries of a gift not arriving on time.

Does viigii work on all platforms and devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iPhone)?

The viigii software works with both Windows and Mac computers, and is optimized for Apple and Android devices.

What if I don’t want to send my viigii notification right away? Can I choose a future date?

Yes! You can choose the exact date you’d like the viigii to be sent. For example, if you’re ordering a viigii for your friend on January 5, but her birthday isn’t until January 15, you can set the viigii delivery date to January 15 so that the viigii will arrive on her special day.

Can I choose what my animated gift looks like?

Yes! With viigii’s Premium Plan you may select from fourteen animated gift color options. Premium Plan subscribers may also customize the colors of viigii’s interface and background, or even allow their customers to select from various themes for holidays and other gift-giving occasions.

Will I be notified when my viigii is sent?

Yes! After you send your viigii, you’ll receive an email confirming the details of your viigii (including the recipient’s contact details and the date of delivery).

What if I don’t want the recipient to see what I’ve sent them?

The viigii gifting service is intended to be a sneak peek of the gift still to come. The experience is designed to emulate the real-life excitement of unwrapping and revealing the gift with the added benefit of being able to respond immediately to the gift-giver. Through social media integration, viigii gives the opportunity for more personal communication between the giver and recipient, with the ability to exchange messages and media.

Can you send a Gift Certificate as a gift?

Yes! With viigii eGifting any item that is able to be purchased at check out can be sent using the eGifting option at check out. If the gift certificate visually shows the amount or code, it can be purchased and then successfully delivered. The gift certificate ( shown in the Shopping cart ) will be revealed out of the box. Remember, the receiver will automatically be taken to your site after they virtually open their gift. So make sure gift certificate has the information needed for the new customer to continue the shopping process successfully. Important note: viigii is not responsible for the design or information needed to retrieve a gift on your site. We do not create gift certificates but we can deliver them in a thoughtful way.

Do you integrate with Bold and Recharge/Subscription apps?

We are in the process of this development in the very near future. Items that are sold "a la cart", viigii will successfully deliver the purchase.

How can I change the location of the "Send as an eGift button"

Do you need the button to be located higher, lower or more centered? This can be easily adjusted.

Can I resend the customer's viigii?

In case the customer entered the "incorrect information", the feature to resend a second viigii notification is being developed now. If the sender recognizes their information ( email or phone number ) was incorrect, this feature will allow them to resend the notification with the correct information.

I want less viigii branding for my store. Is this possible?

Yes! there significantly less viigii branding in the Premium Plan.
Premium is more about you and less about us.

How can I let my customers know I offer eGifting at the end of the shopping experience?

We can show you our banners and what others retailers have used.
We can provide banners and wording and phrases for clearer messaging about the eGifting option.

How do customers use the eGifting button?

  • Click "Send as an eGift now" button
  • Simply fill out the recipient form.
  • Check out.
  • Completion of the eGifting process will ​take place in an email​ on their own time.​

Is viigii safe and secure?

Yes, we use SSL to encrypt data and do not store any sensitive information on our servers.

How can I change my pricing plan?

Your pricing plan details can be accessed either through the website ( viigii.it/pricing) or through the account dashboard.

Can I register multiple accounts?

No way, two separate accounts during registration will cause the viigii eGifitng function to not operate correctly. It is important that only one or the same accounts are entered at all times to avoid any issues with the notification process.

Can I send the receiver of the gift to my online store?

Absolutely, they are not only automatically sent directly to your online store but you can have them land on a specific page you have created, i.e. The home page, new items page, gift certificate, log in page, sale page etc. You have a potential new customer so you can decide where you want them to land.

Can I change my plan?

Yes! You can choose to switch between either plan at any time, and your change will take effect in the next billing period.

How will I receive my invoices?

You’ll receive an email each month with your invoice. Past invoices will be visible from the account dashboard.

How can I Prevent Double Billing?

If your install is done the correct way this will not be an issue. All retailers must register through Shopify first. This includes the 3 month free trial. First, log into Shopify dashboard and install viigii from the Shopify app store.
If you register through the viigii website first this could result in double billing.
We are not financially responsible for incorrect installation.
